Fitness balls are a workout tool that is still a foreign word to some people. Old fashioned people prefer basic training techniques like push ups, pull ups and sit ups. These types of exercises require no other equipment to perform and can be done anywhere, hence the term ‘prison fit’ because they can do these exercises in their cell. However, as simple as these might be they do cause strain on your back and other parts of the body if they aren’t performed correctly. A fitness ball forces you to test your muscles without overexerting them.

Many men are starting to use a fitness ball for many reasons; one being that machines limit your range of motion to the tracking on that machine. A fitness ball workout does the exact opposite by challenging your body to move in directions you never thought possible, guiding you through each motion. The idea that only women can use a fitness ball is rubbish. Fitness ball workouts do not discriminate against any body type, man or woman. A few basic fitness ball exercises will have your waist shrinking in no time!
One of the best things a man can do for building his muscles is using all of them. By strengthening all of your major muscle groups, your body becomes more powerful and able to do more things. A fitness ball workout routine will not only strengthen your body’s core, it will develop muscle groups that are hard to target, which will benefit the other areas of the body you’re targeting; probably your beer gut.

Using a fitness ball doesn’t have to be so intense either. Women and children can both use it and have some fun while they are at it. Fitness balls were designed to help people of all ages because the contours of the workout ball work with your body type, size and shape to accommodate accordingly. Machines can be bulking and definitely can’t fit in your house. Nothing compares to the versatility that a fitness ball supplies. Even lounging around browsing the net or having your kids play around on them can help become familiar with the balance and coordination needed to use a yoga ball.
Fitness balls are becoming very popular all over the globe. It's hard to watch tv and not see an infomercial promoting some sort of branded fitness ball. I'm sure some are made slightly better than others, but as long as you aren't playing kickball with your fitness ball it should last a lifetime. Proper inflation of the workout ball is key and that is one thing you should follow instructions on closely before you start your workout.
